Customs Affairs holds an honouring ceremony

In the presence of the President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Customs Affairs has held a ceremony to honour the winners and participants of Fikra (Idea) competition to promote creativity and innovation.

This initiative aligns with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which stresses the importance of creativity and innovation.

 The Customs Affairs launched the “Best Idea” initiative for its employees as part of its efforts to develop areas of customs work and provide services and programmes to beneficiary clients of high quality to achieve sustainable development for its strategy 2021-2024 and harmonize the government’s work programme, the economic vision 2030 and the policies of the World Customs Organization.

The President of Customs said that the initiative aims to create a creative and innovative work environment to enhance performance. He congratulated the winners and the participants from Customs Affairs. He said that their participation aimed to promote customs services. 

A total of 34 Customs Affairs affiliates participated, of which 10 of them were selected as winners.
