HE Interior Minister launches news Customs Strategy

His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa launched on Tuesday the new Customs Affairs Strategy 2021-2024, during a ceremony to mark the World Customs Day.

HE Interior Minister congratulated President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa for winning international trust through his appointment as the  Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation (WCO). He expressed thanks and appreciation to the Customs Affairs development, calling to highlights the customs accomplishments to society.

To mark World Customs Day, the Customs Affairs has granted the Economic Operator Certificate to some companies after fulfilling the certificate's criteria. The criteria include the commitment to the maximum level of customs systems and procedures and related activities listed in the Customs Affairs’ economic operator guide.
