Four arrested in foiled drug trafficking case
The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science in association with Customs Affairs have foiled trafficking narcotics known as (shabu) worth BD 10,000 in a package through air shipment port. Four Asians aged (30- 33) were arrested.
The Anti- Narcotics Directorate investigated into the case as soon as the report was received from the Airports Customs Directorate. Investigations into the case led to identifying and arresting the suspects while receiving the package.
Legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
