Customs Operations Center
The Customs Operations Center works around the clock and provides support to customs ports by receiving communications related to customs work, taking the necessary measures in relation to them, and monitoring the workflow. In addition to that, the center is equipped and linked to the latest monitoring systems and advanced communications devices that work twenty four hours a day, in order to mitigate threats and risks in all customs ports, and manage them efficiently and effectively in coordination with the main operations center in the Ministry of Interior. The operations center is also responsible for following up on customs patrols and their routes.
The Center also follows-up the continuity of operations of the X-ray detectors in the ports and take the necessary measures to deal with any malfunction of those devices. They are tasked with providing necessary support to the security authorities in the event of an emergency and forward all the information to the relevant authorities.
