Importing
This includes all goods imported from foreign markets to the Kingdom of Bahrain for personal use, transported by any of the various means of air, sea, and land freight; as well as express couriers or government mail.
Required documents to complete the clearing process:
- Purchase Invoices.
- Bill of Lading (Excluding Land Ports).
Clearing Procedure:
- Complete the customs declaration form for imports, and pay the due customs "duties".
- Customs Affairs' Air Cargo Department provides a free service by preparing the customs declaration for the importers in the event of the personal presence of the owner of the imported shipment.
- Goods may be subject to inspection and verification based on risk management criteria.
