BCA Strategy 2024 - 2027
Customs play a vital role in contributing to growth, economic prosperity, community security, and securing our land, sea, and air borders. In implementing its policies, Bahrain Customs Affairs (BCA) is keen to improve the business environment and attract investment by ensuring the implementation of its duties and responsibilities in facilitating the movement of trade, promoting travel, combating illicit trafficking, and collecting revenues, which aligns with the Governments Action Plan, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the World Customs Organization’s policies.
BCA has been facilitating and optimising the effectiveness of trade procedures, contributing to the development of emerging industries, fostering constructive partnerships, and strengthening international customs cooperation. This has been achieved by steadily implementing measurable programmes and applying a clear indicator methodology through sound strategic planning for the achievement of its objectives.
Providing excellent customs services on the regional level, through facilitating legitimate trade and travel whilst strengthening the security of the Kingdom and protection of society.
