Customs President His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Information & eGovernment Authority Chief Executive Mohamed Ali Al Qaed have signed an agreement on the provision of services.
Mr Al Qaed stressed the importance of supporting the government initiatives to improve performance and learning from the experience of those who had benefited when the government organisations had adopted the latest technology. He praised the remarkable development of the customs services thanks to the constant supervision by the President of Customs which had resulted in the introduction of comprehensive e-services.
Both sides agreed to promote partnership in systems development to improve the quality of customs services and automated procedures related to customs clearance.
