President of Customs takes part in WGO discussion session

President of Customs and Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in a discussion session of the World Health Organisation (WCO) for the students of the University of the Netherlands, entitled (Meeting with a Leader), held in Maastricht, Netherlands, from October 18 to 20. He highlighted his career journey, including being elected as the WCO chairperson three times in a row.

Customs Affairs" signs a service-level agreement

Customs Affairs and IBM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa bin Salman Port, signed a service-level agreement, which guarantees advanced levels of customs services. Present were President of Customs His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Ports Affairs and Maritime Navigation at the Ministry of Transport and Communications His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Mrs. Maureen Bannerman, CEO of IBM Terminals Bahrain.
