Customs Affairs: BAS sign Service Level Agreement

The Customs Affairs and Bahrain Airports Services (BAS) have signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa and BAS Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Khalil Ahmed attended the signing of the deal, which aims to enhance the standard of customer services. The agreement was sealed within the framework of constructive cooperation between the Ministry of Interior’s Customs Affairs and Bahrain Airport Services (BAS).

Customs Affairs grants the Economic Operator Certificate West Point Company

Customs Affairs has granted the Economic Operator Certificate to West Point Company. The certificate was handed by the  Director of Customs Clearance and Services, Waleed  Al Sabagh. The criteria include the commitment to the maximum level of customs systems and procedures and related activities listed in the Customs Affairs’ economic operator guide. The certificate has been provided to 13 companies from 2019 to 2022. It is worth mentioning that the Economic Operator Programme aims to facilitate the international trade and customs supervisory role.
