Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Customs Affairs, and Ms. Louise Hoboi-Chan, Commissioner of the Customs and Excise Administration in Hong Kong, Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, signed the mutual recognition agreement for the Authorized Economic Operator Program, in the presence of a number of customs officials and a delegation from the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce. The President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, honoured personnel who were involved in implementing the strategic goals of the Customs Affairs 2021-2024.

He said that achieving these strategic goals was part of the endless support of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He thanked the personnel, affirming the significance of cooperation for the best interests of Customs Affairs.
