His Excellency President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received on Sunday Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan.
During the meeting, he hailed EDB's economic programmes and initiatives to promote investments in Bahrain and achieve the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Excellency President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has participated in the virtual 24th meeting of the GCC Customs Union Authority.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda, including the reports of the technical team assigned to review the lists of banned and restricted goods in Gulf countries. They also followed up the operations of the Customs Union Committee.
At the end of the meeting, the authority issued recommendations to enhance operations and cooperation between regional countries.
