Al Amn Radio show to focus on Customs Affairs

In its Thursday episode, the weekly Al Amn Radio show focused on the Customs Affairs to mark the World Customs Day on January 26. It hosted Customs President His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The show is organised by the Police Media Directorate at the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Bahrain Radio, and is aired live from 1pm on FM 102.3 and 801. One can call the show on 1768888.

Customs Affairs arrests passenger carrying shabu

The Supervisor of the Airports Customs Directorate announced on Monday that the Customs Department at Bahrain International Airport had arrested an Asian passenger for smuggling the drug shabu. He said the customs officers suspected the man, referred him to the red lane and found the drug with him.

The suspect was referred to the Anti-narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science for legal proceedings.
